Today closes the month on server downloads and 29,000 downloads of my episodes where made Aug 21- Sept 21. WOW! What is even greater is that that means a similar number of people are running the coucjh to 5K program with me and that is truly empowering.

Thanks again everyone!

A Little Update

As some of you know I had surgery which went really well, but pushed me behind on all my work.

...This is really remarkable and I thank all of you who are listening to it.

...
The migration from my old site to the new site is complete with only a few issues still to resolve. First I want to thank everyone how let me know there where download speed issues last week (Sept. 8th).... Second, the mp3 versions of my podcast will all be moved to this site today to eliminate bouncing all over the place. In the near future I hope to get them into itunes also for easy subscribing even if you don’t have an ipod.

...After some consideration and talking with different listeners I have decided to release training podcasts starting with some fartlek runs for preparing for a 5K race.

...
Yes, I wrote Fartlek, but trust me, fartleking is as much fun to run as to say. Fartleking is a Swedish word for a type of training running similar to the early weeks of the couch to 5k routine. After warming up, you run at a relaxed pace, then at various times you have 2 to 3 minute bursts of speed. I think my guided podcasts are perfect for fartleking and I hope you will too.

Playlist getting added

As the last part of the server move, I am adding the playlists for each podcast to the entries. Not an easy venture at all as I tried to maintain all the hooks and feeds with iTunes. However, I think everything finally worked out. Good question. The reason though is simple yet I think quite extraordinary. The "Couch to 5K" Podcasts are so successful that I ran out of Bandwidth on my previous site. This has been marvelous, but the down side is, if I did not move quickly, my original site would have shut down and no one would be able to download the podcasts.

So, A quick change was required.
